Solved! Black screen while using nvidia graphics.

Black screen while using dedicated nvidia graphics for running software and games whereas it works with integrated graphics.
My laptop specs are as follows:
Intel i3 2348m
Nvidia geforce 710m
4gb ram

Have tried updating and downgrading the graphics driver. No effect was there on the problem.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
