Block name

when I call a land line from my cell my name and number both show I want to block my name and show only my number. I called the cell company and they said they could block both.
why does my name show no one else I know has this problem when they call from their cell only number shows

The only option I know of is to dial *67 before the number you dial, as that will make your number/name show up as either "private" or "restricted."
