Blu ray playback lg hdtv issues

Hello,
I have a LG 42 inch hdtv and LG bluray player,sapphire HD6450 using ARC soft for blurays. Plays fine on lcd monitor but fails when I move the player to the tv it will lock up and stop playing most bluerays. All firmware has been updated. Hardware accelleration is turn on. Plays DVDs fine. What other setings am I missing.
