I HAVE A BRAND NEW LENOVO B500 IDEACENTRE ALL IN ONE PC WITH A WIRELESS KEYBOARD AND MOUSE. SOME TIMES THEY WILL NOT WORK AND LENOVO TECH IS COFUSED AS TO WHY , BUT THEY TAKER OVER MY PC AND FINNALLY GET BLUETOOTH TO RECONIZE THE KEYBOARD AND MOUSE THEY WILL WORK FOR AWILE AND THEN STOP WORKING .

I ALSO GET A MESSAGE ON START UP THAT SAYS UNABLE TO START UP BLUETOOTH STACK SERVICE. I TOLD THAT TO TECH SUPPORT AND THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT THAT WAS. ANY REAL HELP WITH THIS WOULD BE APPRCIATED.

THANK YOU, JOE joereham@att.net

Its registration issue.

If you are still receiving : ERROR: Unable to start Bluetooth Stack Services?

Have you recently run a registry program for example Registry Booster 2?

If so then this may be the cause and suggest you restore to an earlier saved point from the RB backup.

I had the same issue and despite contacting Dell support and checking internet forums, the problem still occurred until I recognized it was the registry program new settings that was causing the start up problem.

I restored on the Registry problem to the back up and the issue has gone. I can even locate my BT TRAY.

Microsoft support don't seem to have an idea. Nothing new there.

You may well be correct, however there is a major problem: I have NEVER been able to Restore to an earlier version in Windows 7. I did so several times with XP over 4 years, but W7 just won't let me. I've disabled the firewall, disabled virus control, I don't know if it's something to do with ZoneAlarm, but as I say I've disabled it; but it makes no difference. Once again, after many attempts W7 WILL NOT RESTORE. So we need a cleverer fix than you or anyone else has so far mentioned.
