I recently bought a Vizio soundbar:
http://www.woot.com/offers/vizio-40-5-1-bluetooth-sound-bar-system-50

And paired it with a bluetooth transmitter:

I have these connected to my computer. I have tested with an HDMI cable and it continues to play music, however with the bluetooth it will "turn off". The devices are both still on, but the sound stops. The sound will resume once I adjust the sound of my computer, VLC player, or using my remote for the soundbar. I'm new to Bluetooth so I don't know if this is a transmitter problem or a problem with my soundbar not recognizing it's getting input or not.

Are you connecting them to a laptop? There's usually a setting to allow your computer "turn off this device to save power" in the power settings for the adapter.

I'm not using a laptop. I'm using a Windows 7 PC. I've also noticed that it will continuously raise in volume until it's unbearably loud. I can get it back to normal by pausing it for 30 seconds or so.

I have same problem playing iTunes on iPhone connected with Bluetooth to a Vizio soundbar.
Audio cuts off every few minutes, restores with volume increase using Vizio remote.
I thought it might be Bluetooth signal weakness, but happens even with iPhone sitting on top of the soundbar.
I've reset the Vizio to default settings without ressolution.
Any ideas?
