Books on cd in car without a slot

Solution
You can rip the book CDs to mp3 files and play them from a USB stick if your car has a USB port.
Or put them on your phone. Send them to the car stereo with bluetooth or connect the headphone out of the phone to the aux input of the car stereo.
You can buy a portable CD player and connect that to the car stereo if it has an aux input.

Copy to some media that your car can accept?
USB maybe?

My car has and SD card input port. I get my "free" books from the library, then read and burn them onto my computer hard drive, then transfer them onto the SD card. Takes a lot of time but it works. Finding the right software can be a pain. Seems like apple tune works the best.
