boot and nuke

i have used boot and nuke to wipe the laptop clean how ca i get windows xp back on it or windows 7 do i have to buy the software or can i down load it. i did not back anything up.

Does the laptop have a Windows sticker on it -- if so for what version? If it has a Windows 7 sticker with an activation key -- note the exact W7 version and download it from HERE. If it is any other than 7, you are out of luck and will need to buy an OS.
