bootmgr miising error

got a new dell 3542 yesterday which came with ubuntu installed and when installing windows 7, i deleted the os partiotion when trying to create new partitions. the windows then couldnt finish installing and on trying to reinstall or restart it shows bootmgr missing.....press ctrl+alt+del to restart over and over again

Did you format the partitions or "delete" them? (If you want a truly clean slate to install Windows to, you need to delete]/i] the partitions.)

You can also attempt using a third party program to prep the drive for installing Windows (there are several free ones).
