bought laptop now

i need help with my laptop
so i have asus laptop K95VJ with these specs:
intel core i3-3120M 2.50GHz 2.50GHz
8 GB of RAM
64bit windows 8
nvidia GeForce GT 635M and intel hd 4000 with directx 11
HDD 1 TB
resolution is 1920x1080
but i have a few questions:
1.for my cpu, it says "Intek(R) Core(TM) i3-3120M CPU @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz"
so does it mean that i have 4 cpus, so each 2.50 * 2 = 20GHz?
2.for my gpu, it says total available graphics memory 4095 MB, dedicated video memory 1024 MB DDR3, system video memory 0 MB, shared system video memory 3071 MB so what does it mean,
and also if you could explain me those things like
clocks, bandwidth and those memory things cuz im not sure what is used for what.
3.if you could rate my pc, i mean tell me is it good for gaming.

and yes i forgot what is DDR3?

And one more thing, i bought it about one year ago, not even a year, i have warranty for 2 years, and o paid abput $1.500, so when should i buy a new laptop, i was thinking about perfect one, 32 gb of ram, i7, some high end nvidia gtx, 1 or 2 TB hdd, something like that, i mean the best i can find.
They are so expensive now it's true, about $5.000-$7.000, but they should get cheaper in future and still kick ass, i mean be on top right?
When would you buy it if you were me, i don't think now is the best time, even though I'd like it pretty much, but in future sure

no not exactly - this processor has 2 cores, but uses 4 threads - basically it tricks the motherboard into thinking it's a quad core CPU and thus is able to act like one, when in reality it only has 2. however all 4 of these threads will still operate at 2.5GHZ

This is a guess - but I think it's a pretty good one. Your Integrated graphics chip in your CPU (intel HD 4000) has a maximum usable amount of memory out of the ram that it can use for graphical tasks. However when you add in a discrete GPU this amount is deducted by the GPU's memory - since it doesn't need to use all this extra memory, the gt 635M is a 1GB DDR3 unit, the same as the memory (ram)

Clocks = clock speed - basically how many cycles the CPU can do within 1 second - though it normally says a number like 2.5GHZ the reality is a bit more complicated than that, generally higher is better.
bandwidth is the amount of memory that can be used by a component e.g your gt 635M has a maximum bandwidth of 128-192 bits, depending on the model per clock cycle.
3.if you could rate my pc, i mean tell me is it good for gaming.
If I could rate it for now? Honestly not great compared to the gaming behemoths of now - bet you can play smaller games like CS:GO and diablo at max, you can play stuff like skyrim on medium at 720p, it can play games like crysis 3 and skyrim, but only at minimum settings.

it's a standard type of RAM / memory. This has been in Use since 2007 so it's unlikely you'll see any DDR2, but avoid machines that include DDR2 memory - since they will be outdated, basically it has higher bandwidth and is just generally faster than other types of ram, there's more to it than this, but honestly you don't really need to know it. You see a product that says "8GB DDR3 RAM" or higher then it's all good.

When would I buy a beasty laptop if I had to? well maybe within the next two years possibly, depending on how the technology trends, new processors are coming in Q3 2014 & Q1/2 of 2015, DDR4 comes Q1+ 2015 and a new series of graphics cards has only just been released so expect a new set next december or so. If you need to buy soon, then buy in about 3-4 months as the release craze will have warn off.
