It's pity that the sentiment behind most of these comments correlate perfectly with this kids behavior. Utter lack of empathy towards an other.

I wish ppl would stop buying violent games for kids. Would they buy porn for their kid? So why let ur kid play violent games. There are plenty of kids' games they could give em. They could get them into sports. But no they wanta not listen to the rest of the world when we tell them not to buy 18+ games for kids. Now I will admit violent games DO impact kids and their behaviour. But still they shouldn't be playing them in there first place!!!

The worst part of this is now most people will use this story as a generalization of all gamers. We'll hear middle-aged people, who don't know what they are talking, crying out that video games produce murderers.

But you've got to remember, it's the kid who killed his parents. If it wasn't for a keyboard, it would have been something else: car keys, cellphone, etc.
