brand new hp 2000 laptop making a rattling noise

Just bought and turned on my hp 2000 laptop. It is making a rattling noise coming from the fan area. If you put light pressure on the top of the laptop, the fan runs quietly. The same goes for putting pressure on the edge of the battery near the fan. any ideas what is loose or how to fix it permanenatly? its getting to be very annoying hearing the clicking/rattling noise over the tv.

Should be an easy fix as it's probably something needing tightening but since it's new I'd just take it back and get a new one.

If you just bought it, take it back and get it replaced, or RMA it. Why would you want to try to fix anything that is new?

Or contact HP, since the product is new, they're obligated by warranty to fix it or provide a replacement for you free of charge.
