Buying advice on Macbook Pro/Mac Mini for Web Design

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a Macbook Pro for web designing work where I will be mainly using Illustrator and Photoshop.

• 
  ■I have viewed the Macbook Pro and new Mac Mini and was wondering what would be the recommended one. I am currently a Windows user looking to migrate over to OSX but have used the OS before with a MB White.

• 
  ■I'm not sure about portability but it would be a decent option in the future if work required it.

• 
  ■Budget: £1,999 max.

You will get more value/performance if you get a PC.

As stated before, I would rather get a PC as it has much better performance for a much cheaper price. But, if you insist, here is the best Mac Book Pro you can get. I wouldn't recommend the Mac Mini as it is not really worth the price tag for the crappy specs it provide. The Mac Book Pro will be the best choice as it is very portable and the design is wonderful.
