CA Anti-Virus “Real-Time Scanner” disabled in Vista Ultimate 64

Does anyone else have this problem where you can’t get the real-time scanner working? I’ve searched around for the solution and can’t seem to resolve this. I just can’t turn the thing on.

Note, CA really isn't a great security suite since it does not detect a lot of threats. Consider a different one like norton.
