cable to connect coax to hdmi

My Direct TV box only has coax output which I need to connect to my HDMI input only TV. Where can I get a cable to do this?

You can't use a cable. The coax output of your Direct TV box is radio frequency. HDMI is a digital signal. You can either buy a TV tuner with HDMI output, a new Direct TV box, or if your Direct TV box has red/white/yellow outputs you may be able to use them.

I would call direct TV and tell them to replace the box with a newer model that has HDMI outputs... should be a free swap .

I did but they sent a HD box that required an oval hd satellite dish . My dish is an in motion RV satellite dish with only standard definition output. I'll call them again. They seemed lost when I spoke to them.

I have not seen a Rj59 to HDMI converters, maybe you will need to upgrade to the OVAL dish.

The link below is what you will need to convert coax to HDMI. You will also need a coax to bnc adapter. These HDMI converters are new and relativity unheard of but they can work for this. The bnc adapter is harder to find now that RadioShack has closed.

actually, i think that one is going the wrong way ... you want SDI to HDMI (I don't think they are reversable). Try this one:
