Cable went out during storm. Cable came back on but my tv in bedroom just has no picture and no sound. Other tvs are working.

Is there a possible chance that it went out due to a lightning strike?

Many TV can vary in surge resistance. What model is the TV and was it on a surge protector?

Possible. It is a Toshiba (about 8 yrs old) and it was plugged directly into the outlet

Is the TV powering up? Can you see the TV menu?
if not then try a different cable box and or TV in the bedroom to make sure that the TV is bad.
If you do get the menu try the TV in another room with another cable box if you have one..
