Even though I have Call Waiting on my Cingular plan, when a second call
comes in, I cannot answer it. Neither the "answer" nor the "swap" option
is available. The clerk at the Cingular store doesn't have a clue. They
tried to blame the problem on my Nokia 3395 phone, so I swapped to my
Nokia 3390. Same problem.
My daughter also has Call Waiting on her Cingular account, and the same
3390 phone works fine on her account. How could the problem NOT be at
Cingular? I was only hold with Customer No-Service for a half hour, and
when she finally decided to transfer me to the next level of Tech
Support, she disconnected me. Of course she didn't have the common
courtesy to call me back.
Any ideas?
