Solved! Camera issues that need help

my olympus x-42 camera is showing lines after i shoot an image but the icd is in good condition, if i record a video the lines will not appear any help?

Maybe caused by the defective shutter, because you can use the camera for video. Contact olympus if the camera is still under warranty, otherwise go to local camera shop ask for help. If they charge too much, and you may consider to buy the new camera.
