Can anyone tell me how to get rid of YT Downloader off of Windows 7 laptop?

YT Downloader ended up on my computer about two weeks ago. I've been unsuscessul in uninstalling it. I ran a malware scan and may have gotten rid of part of it but it is still listed in my programs and won't let me uninstall it. Any suggestions?

download revo uninstaller portable and try to uninstall as well as delete all the registry settings using the uninstaller

Thanks for your answer. I've never heard of revo uninstaller. Is it safe to download and if so, do you have a link? Will it guide me with a tutorial so that I do get the registry settings too?

go to the bottom of the page and find the portable version

its like a normal uninstaller, just click on the program and uninstall, first it will uninstall with the built in uninstaller and later it will scan for remains of registry and folders , select all and delete, thats it

Thank you so much for that. I'll try it and post back to let you, and anyone else looking for the same help, know how it went. I appreciate it as I think YT Downloader is a type of malware or adware.
