Can finger touch damage tv screen

My son touched our Samsung 9000 series tv screen. I do not think it was hard, just some pressure with three fingers. However we now have a mark that I thought was from dirty hands, except it will not wipe off. Is this permanate damage? Is there a fix? It is only noticeable when off (when black) and up close. I can not see it at all when watching something. But I pretty dumb about this stuff so any info would be appreciated.

Take some pics and maybe a video in different angles, and send them to Samsung support. They will be in a better position to guide you.
