I noticed that in powerpoint 2008, there are very few transitions, so I was wondering, can I add any of the new transitions from 2010 to 2008?
I am using a late 2012 iMac running OS X 10.8.5 mountain lion, if that helps.
If you try to help me, thank you so much! :D

What version of Powerpoint do you have installed?

You can certainly open a 2008 document in PP2010 and add whatever transitions are available. Saving them in the file will save the transitions.

If you are talking about taking pieces of PP2010 (the actual program features) and adding them to PP2008, I don't see how that would work.

oh, I meant that I had powerpoint 2008, and when I used 2010 transitions in the 2008 project than saved, than when I opened the file in powerpoint 2008, all the transitions would disappear, so I was wondering if it is possible to install the new transitions into powerpoint 2008
