can i conect my tab to other hdmi tv accept samsung

I have hdtv adapter when i plugg in its shows nothing pleas tell me about how to conect from tab 2 10.1 to nihon hdtv

Hey did you turn on a second display in the personalize/screen display/resolution you can set it as a clone image or you can set it as a second screen with 2 differnt things on them at one time make sure to have it pluged in first for it finds the device.
