Can i copy my inbox messages to my computer

i have Nokia 1600 set and i want to copy phone msg into my pc with data cable or other sources..

Do you have the data cable? If you do, get the Nokia Suite software (you can find it on nokia.com) and install. Connect your phone, and the software should give you the choice of backing or viewing your messages.
