My laptop keyboard requires cleaning so it seemed like a good idea to prise off the keys to clean underneath without researching whether laptop keyboards actually have anything mechanical in common with desktop keyobards. After levering off the first key I realised I was wrong. Can anyone advise whether this can be rectified simply and cheaply without replacing the entire keyboard?
The key still works but takes more pressure to press. It's still connected at the top but not at the bottom.
