Can I fix or replace a key I've prised off the keyboard?

My laptop keyboard requires cleaning so it seemed like a good idea to prise off the keys to clean underneath without researching whether laptop keyboards actually have anything mechanical in common with desktop keyobards. After levering off the first key I realised I was wrong. Can anyone advise whether this can be rectified simply and cheaply without replacing the entire keyboard?

The key still works but takes more pressure to press. It's still connected at the top but not at the bottom.

Hi. Sorry for the delayed response and the out-of-focus picture. I didn't realise it was that bad (maybe I made this post on my phone). Here's a better picture:

kind of looks like its still there but not clicked on

at the bottom where i put a red line and red arrow pointing at

can you lift that bit upwards?

if it does then looks like the scissor mechanism is still there but you just havent clicked the key cap onto the bottom latches
