Can I forward my Verizon alpha pages to my cell phone? My company gives us alpha pagers and I'm tired of carrying around both an alpha pager and a cell phone.

You'd have to ask verizon about it to see if they allow for pager/call forwarding to a cell number.

Some paging providers offer a service called message carbon copy or page copy, where pages are also sent as either a text message or email message. The company that my pager is through, directpage.com even offers this service without the pager at all, they call it virtual paging and all of my pages come through as a text message so I have the privacy and the urgency that a separate pager phone number provides.
