I recently bought a notebook which is better than my current desktop computer and I was wondering if I could use my notebook as a "desktop" (with a monitor and a separated keyboard) to play eSports normally. I'm worried that this might cause some input lag, delay or something like that. Unfortunately I can't just test it because I'm studying abroad, so if anyone knows the answer, that'd be great.
Thanks!

Sure, just get a HDMI or DisplayPort cable to connect your laptop to the monitor; it depends on the video output port of the laptop and the video input port of the monitor. If the input / output ports are different then you will need to purchase a HDMI to DisplayPort adapter. The monitor should be set up to mirror (duplicate) the laptop's display, not as an extended desktop.

As for the keyboard, just plug it into the laptop's USB port.
