can i use msi afterburner to overclock my 5870 mobile in my g73??

if so how far can i get it or has anyone ever done it before.

Yes you can, but it will lower your battery life and will produce more amount of heat;therefore,its not recommended.
You can't OC it much though,check the G73 owner lounges and check their OC's
