can I run 3 ohms speakers on a 8 ohm system? Thank you

Hello; I have 5 high quality Sony speakers that have an Impedance of 3. I would like to connect them to a Yamaha RX-675 Receiver with 8 ohm recomended. Would that blow the amp, or cause other problems? Thank you.

It will either make the receiver go into protection, blow any internal fuses, and blow the receiver up. DO NOT USE THEM.
