Even if he's running the fastest Core 2 Duo for a CPU, it came out in 2009. If his GPU is of the same vintage, I think it's a fairly safe bet it isn't up to GTA V. I could of course be mistaken. 😀

My answer is no

Unless you have a high-end old graphics card something that i don't think it's possible.

Because you say nothing with 1007 mb graphic card because there are many GPUs with that memory onea that are better and the amount of MB doesn't mean better performance.

A 512MB card could beat a 1024MB card when it comes to games
