Solved! Can I Swap 3.5"SATA Hdd Adaptor and use 2.5"SATA hdd in place

I have an external SATA WD 500gig Hdd 3.5", would to use the case to power and connect a 2.5" SATA HDD,can this work okay the fittings fits okay.

Hello BBDDA;
I've used that method to temporarily gain access to a 2.5" drive. Just don't move it around.

But it won't mount in the 3.5" case without a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter.
