Question Can I transplant speakers from one laptop to another?

I have this Acer transformer baller gadget but my speakers make this horrible buzzing noise. Now I'm thinking since I have this old broken Asus slimbook can I hotwire speakers from this one into my device and just glue them to not move?

I figure since both have same number color wires but different jack that connects to motherboard why not right? Any advice, is this doable?

Theoretically, yes. This may be possible. It really depends on the specs of the speakers you intend to use.

Can you see the markings on the back of both speaker types (old and "new")?

Speakers do have electrical differences (e.g. impedance) but it's not likely you will damage anything by trying. I would temporarily hook up the replacement speakers and see what happens. Wire color/order is not important but do both sides the same way for proper phasing. Are you sure the speakers are the problem?
