Hello,
I have an Acer Aspire 4738zg with Intel® Pentium® processor P6200 (Dual Core, 3 MB L3 cache, 2.13 GHz, DDR3 1066 MHz, 35 W), and a chipset of Mobile Intel® HM55 Express Chipset
and I have a defective Acer Aspire 4740g with Intel Core i3-330M
(2.13GHz, 3MB L3 Cache, 1066MHz FSB, 35W) and with the same chipset of Mobile Intel® HM55 Express Chipset
they are almost the same but the Core i3 330M has 4 threads while the P6200 only has 2
according to this site http/www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Pentium_Dual-Core_Mobile/P6200.html both of them have the same g1 socket I was wondering if I can swap the Intel Pentium P6200 with the core i3 330M and also according to my research they also have the same TDP of 35w is it safe? because I rather use it as an upgrade.
