Can my PC run Fraps?

Today I had a quick question concerning if my PC could run Fraps without a big FPS loss. I have heard many things about Fraps as well as DxTory but I'm unsure of which one to use. I'm starting a YouTube channel and want to record some gameplay of games Like Batman Arkham Origins, Assassins Creed 4 etc. I would love some help, and tips on the matter.

Here are my PC Specs:

ASRock 970 EXTREME3 Motherboard
XFX Double D Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition Black Edition 2GB
AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz
8GB DDR3 RAM
Coolmax 700W PSU
Corsair H60 Liquid CPU Cooler
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD

i dont see why not, i have a very similar build to you, and with fraps i hardly loose any fps unless i lock the frame rate, if anything only a small drop 10 fps max?!?! hope this helps!
