PC to run 3Ds Max, Blender and Unity Engine

Hello!

I'm building a computer to work with the programs mentioned: 3Ds Max, Blender and Unity engine for the next 4 or 5 years. I have these two settings in mind. Which is more appropriate? (Remember: I want to play heavy games on PC too!)


AMD:

Processor: AMD FX 8320 Black Edition, 16MB Cache, 3.5 GHz - 4.8GHz (water cooling OC)

Video Card: GTX 770 2GB GDDR5

RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Kingston HyperX 1866MHz

MB: ASRock 970 PRO3 R2.0

Storage: 1TB SSHD Hybrid Drive - Seagate

Power Supply: Corsair CX600

Cooling: Corsair H50 Water Cooler


INTEL:

Processor: Core i5 4440 - 3.1GHz - 3.4GHz, 6MB Cache

Video Card: GTX 770 2GB GDDR5

RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz

MB: MSI G43-B85M

Storage: 1TB SSHD Hybrid Drive - Seagate

Power Supply: Corsair CX600

Cooling: Corsair H50 Water Cooler



Both options have the same price in my country (Brazil).

I would go with the AMD build since 3DS MAX can use all 8 cores of the CPU (AFAIK). In gaming the difference is very minimal; you won't notice it.

The only thing I would change is the PSU. It uses bad capacitors that fail often. Go for Seasonic, XFX and Corsair (not CX, RM or VS).

if you can afford i7 4771 it would be best. at stock its faster than max OCed AMD. It's faster for games, since its intel and renders as fast as max oced 4670k.

Bang for $, 4440 wins hands down- for gaming and rendering, while 8320 wins for rendering- altho it loses at power consumption and heat...

I'd advise you to get 2x 8 gb ram. Ram is cheap and while you dont need more than 8 for games, Max and video/image edditing apps will gobble it up in no time. 16gb allows you a comfortable manipulation of ~ 1min of hd footage.

unfortunately the i7 4771 costs more than double the 8320.
