Can my Toshiba laptop run Sims 3?

I have all of the expansions for Sims 2 and the game is never laggy for me when I play it, no crashes etc. But I really want to play Sims 3 and I wonder whether my laptop can handle it.

It won't run it well, that is a very slow CPU and video card. You are at about the minimum requirements which means low settings and it may be slow at that.
