Can nextbook ares be upgraded/updated?

just bought an area 11.6 wondering if it can be upgraded /updated for lastest software in the future or now?

Actually, that device is really a tablet and not a laptop. It should be running Android rather than Windows. I would then post this in the Android Tablets forum.

However, that said, you can look up the specs for that device and see if it is upgradable or not. They definitely should have the information on the Nextbook website.
