Can only use one tab at a time

I can open more than one tab on my google chrome, but when I click on a tab to go back to it chrome just closes that tab. So ran the reset on Chrome, also did the check for malware, and restarted my computer multiple time today. Still is not working right. I am working with 1 tab at a time. Can anybody lead me in the right direction here?

It is a problem with all sites that I have tried.

Well I have been under the weather for a couple days and now when I open Chrome it is working fine. Didn't reboot the computer, or even my Chrome, it was open with three tabs. But for now it is working again and I have no idea why.
