Can this computer run skyrim on ultra?

I am looking to buy a new computer since my old one is getting well old and I would like to know if this computer can run Skyrim on ultra.

If not could you give me other laptop options for around $1000 or if it would be cheaper, what part should I buy.

Honestly, it won't be able to run smoothly. High would be the highest / most playable graphs. Why don't you get a desktop PC to game on instead?

My bad, yeah at 720P on high you are looking at probably mid to upper 30's

Yeah, it can run it on ultra, but you may want to adjust some settings down for smooth play.

Honestly, it won't be able to run smoothly. High would be the highest / most playable graphs. Why don't you get a desktop PC to game on instead?

Unfortunately, if you aren't going to be spending $1,500 or more then you have no chance of getting a laptop that will run Skyrim on ultra settings with good results.

K then what computer would you suggest try to keep it cheap but I do want a computer that can run it on ultra.

ASUS G53SN with 16GB DDR3 RAM, 2cd gen i7 quad core 3.0ghz+, 560M graphics card with 3GB GDDR5 (video ram).
Price: $1500 if you get a good deal.
That should run it on ultra but you could also get a alienware laptop such as a m14x.
