Can we connect blueray player and home theatre through co axial cable

I have blue ray player samsung bdj5500 and home thetre sony dav390..can i get the sound output through home theatre?? What abt coaxial cable connection, is it possible?

The BD player connects to the TV with HDMI.
The HTS would connect to the TV audio output. That would send audio from the BD player through the TV to the HTS. You may already have it connected this way. Check the TV manual on how to configure the TV.
If the TV doesn't have any audio outputs then you will need an HDMI input selector with audio extraction. That will provide an audio output for all your external sources to connect to the HTS with a digital audio cable. You can use a coax digital cable or an optical digital cable since the HTS has both types of inputs.
