Canon Camera SDK technical support

Dear all,

Do you guy think that Canon need to officially provide SDK technical support? I found that currently only Europe got some kind of programme related to Canon SDK support. I am currently writing my final year project to research on this issue. Please provide me some opinions on this issue.

We are looking for a compact high resolution camera with excellent macro autofocus that will save RAW images and have a SDK with which we can CONTROL key camera functions and take images off the camera into our analytical software.
