Hi there, i bought and installed a new ssd in my asus k56cb and i wanna make it boot from dvd or usb to install the windows but i can't access to my boot priority setting. What can i do about that?

laptop do have locked bios which you cannot change setting.
Keep pressing the F8 key before Windows starts> In the Advanced Option Menu select Repair your Computer. And continue.
Another thing that may work is, just take out the ssd and connect it after your laptop has booted through DVD or other bootable device.

nothing is working mate, F8 only makes the bios open kinda slower than normal nothing more, btw the ssd is empty, no windows inside

Your ssd is attached to your machine which is picking up as first boot option. Remove it and let it boot through dvd if you can't change the sequence in bios.

glad that helped. Good luck mate 😉
Enjoy!!!
