I purchased a Vizio XVT423SV 42-Inch TV. I am using a Netgear Wireless N-150 Router. The router is only 10 feet away from the TV. It is also used on an upstairs computer and a WII with no problems. I have been trying to connect to internet with no luck. We keep putting in the password and it doesn't connect. I tried running an ethernet line from the back of the router to the TV and it doesn't connect. If we disconnect the ethernet line from the cable modem and connect to the TV it works fine. I tried using an ethernet hub with very limited success. Hopefully someone has some advice. I was thinking next to maybe upgrade the router. Also we are on Comcast high speed internet.

Solution
Is it a G router? Is it an N router? Is the TV set to the same band? G or N??
With the TV on...
reset the modem power, allow the modem time to start back up...
Reset the modem power, allow the modem to start back up,
now reset the TV power, start the TV back up, enter the password

But that's true it may just be a bunk router
