Hi, I'm about to head to college and I am deciding to spend a lot of my money on a gaming laptop. I have narrowed it down to these two:
Alienware 17:

and
Asus G750JM:

I plan to play games such as Sims 4, The Witcher 3, Dragon Age Inquisition and more that I just can't think of right now. Also use it for college work. I am really conflicted because I have seen great reviews for both of them. However, I have read that the Asus is better than the Alienware and cheaper. I know that a lot of people think Alienware is a waste of money, but the reviews for it look good. Any input you guys could give me would be much appreciated because I want to order this soon so I can get it before I move into my dorm! Thank you.

I would never get Alienware because their products are overpriced. They're like the Beats by Dre in computers.

Both laptops are pretty much the same except for the processors (idk which one is better since I'm not familiar with laptop components). Notice the ASUS has expandable memory, so you can add more later on.
