Cant decide between these two laptops, please help

They both cost £399 -

HP Pavilion 15-ab269sa 15.6" Laptop, i3 Processor, 8 GB, Intel Iris Graphics 6100

HP Pavilion 15-ab240na Laptop, i5 processor, 12 GB, Intel HD Graphics 5500

I'm really indecisive and I don't know much about laptops. Mostly use it for work & word processing, some simming.

The first one for sure, it's got a better GPU, a better CPU (though it's an i3 ), and 8gigs of RAM is WAY more than you need, you'll never ever use 12gigs . Enjoy your laptop, it'll be a good one! Maybe you can upgrade to an SSD/M.2 later .
