Can't get rid of virus/malware

I'm on a Mac and using Parallels to use Windows 8. I have some kind of virus/malware that puts the same small video windows all over web pages, regardless of browser. I have tried to restart in safe mode to get rid of these but there is some network error when running in Safe Mode that doesn't allow Windows to establish an internet connection.

Personal recommendation for a virus infection that a quick virus scan can't clean up is to nuke it and reformat/install Windows.

Another option would be to reset IE to defaults, which will remove any add-ons and delete any temp internet files. You can do this with other browsers like Chrome and Firefox too.
