Can't hear audio from pc to tv?

I'm trying to connect my pc to my tv and the screen works but the sound doesn't work.
I have bought a y cable with a small y adapter.

My pc can only use a computer dvi to a computer dvi cable.


Can anyone help? I'm new to this. Thanks.

You will need to connect a separate cable for audio. Stereo mini plug to RCA plugs should work.
