Question Can't log in to Samsung S10

My son was creating a new email address for his business, and somehow a login screen showed up asking for his password. He assumes it was asking for the password of the new account, but what he thought was the password didn't work. His phone won't even turn off. He bought a new phone because he needs one for his business, but wants to recover all his photos and videos, mostly family over several years. Of course, he didn't have it backed up. He's a little paranoid about storing stuff in the cloud. Any suggestions. WiFi works, but with a new phone, this one is not connected to his service provider.

if the data is encrypted on the phone. he either have to remember the password or the data is gone.
