ASUS Z97-A (its a PC) System starts, fans run, etc. Monitor reaches ASUS logo start screen then system will not respond. Can't reach BIOS (Ami Bios) with specified keys (F2 or delete) Tried resetting BIOS with jumpers. No change. Battery voltage good.
Some threads have suggested bad mobo, but I know of no way the check this. Can't download new BIOS or run a rescue disc.
I'm stumped. Ideas welcome!

Solution
Hi

First disconnect from mains & take antistatic precautions

Simplify system by removing GPU (use intergrated graphics), leave only one memory stick, disconnect all hard disk drives or SSD & dvd drive

If motherboard is not broken PC should then complain about no boot device and let you into the UEFI/BIOS

(possible faulty GPU or hard drive may prevent boot up)
