Cant run bbci player through vpn on my galaxy tab pro.....

I can run my vpn and open bbci player through my s7 edge smart phone, but when i run my vpn on my galaxy tab pro it wont run bbci player or any catch up apps. Also i can't even get most normal sites like amazon shopping. It sometimes says im not connected to the internet when i am. This problem only with my galaxy tab pro....any suggestions please?

It may be something in the tablet that is restricting any access via VPN. The only way to know for sure would be to check with the manufacturer, or check that the VPN you are trying to use works with that device. You may need another way.

Thank you. Yes i have asked my vpn supplier they dont understand why its not working on my tab. Looked all over the net on this problem but to no avail. So yes, looks like i will have to contact Samsung about this problem....here's hoping....

However, found, via web address given above, that its my 4.4.2 kitkat on my samsung galaxy pro 8.4 that is the problem with my VPN. I need to up date to 4.4.4 or more. This site, shows, by further web address, how to update it. It states "if it says your already updated then you are fully updated" and cant update further. It adds depending where tab bought will depend if you can update further. I bought mine in uk.. Sadly this is what my attempt to update says. I'm stuck with 4.4.2 that has a known vpn problem. Well, updating past what your system says is its limit is often hard to do unless you root the device. I am not well versed on rooting, not really a fan. However, if you wish to do that, you can post in the "Rooting, Jailbreaking & Unlocking" Forum. http/www.tomsguide.com/forum/forum-117.html I am sure they can help you.
