Can't stream on Chrome

I have always watched TV (not live) and hockey games (live) on chrome . I use 2 browsers at a time . Chrome and Firefox. Chrome has always been the best until lately. streaming is slow and stops frequently. not the same problem on Firefox (although firefox has plugin issues frequently). seems to have happened since I downloaded dropbox for working at home.

Dropbox is constantly checking to see if there is any changes to your folder. Try to close Dropbox and try streaming? If your still having the same problems is there any other add-ons install for your browsers? Is there any other computers that you can try to see if work.
